Langlands-Kottwitz reading seminar Fall 2025 - Spring 2026

SYNOPSIS

The seminar will meet Wednesday 2:00-3:30PM in Sterling 2329 with zoom link Online..

The goal of this two-semester long semiar is to read the master thesis of Peter Scholze on The Langlands-Kottwitz approach for the modular curve. In the first semester, we will focus on the geometry part. In the second semester, we will focus on the representation theory part. Here is the rough plan.
